Schweigen Silent Undermount Rangehood UM-PA9ST · 90cm · 900 m³/h

An entirely invisible kitchen appliance — until the smoke needs somewhere to go. Why is it silent? The remote motor explained. Every Schweigen rangehood uses a German-engineered Isodrive motor mounted outside your kitchen — typically in your ceiling cavity, roof space or exterior wall. Because the noise source is physically removed from the kitchen, you hear nothing but your cooking. This is the fundamental difference between Schweigen and every conventional rangehood. Perimeter Aspiration. Medium ST motor — ideal where ultra-quiet operation is the priority. Perimeter Aspiration An additional panel creates a Venturi effect along the rangehood's edges — targeting airflow towards the perimeter rather than the centre for more effective capture of smoke and grease. Warranty Motor 10 years Canopy 3 years Filters Lifetime Frequently Asked Questions Where does the motor go? The Isodrive motor mounts in your ceiling cavity, roof space, or on an exterior wall. Your installer routes ducting from the canopy to the motor location — this is why you never hear it operating. Do I need a licensed installer? Yes — Schweigen rangehoods require a licensed electrician to connect the motor. Call Airdry for installer referrals: (02) 4367 8252.
