Schweigen’s Isodrive® technology places the motor remotely in the roof cavity, wall or ceiling void — away from the kitchen. At low speeds the rangehood is virtually silent, because the only sound source is air moving through the filters, not a motor above the cooktop. What does Schweigen rangehood installation involve? Installation costs are typically the same as a standard rangehood. The remote motor unit is installed in the ceiling, roof cavity or bulkhead with flexible ducting.
