Frequently Asked Questions
Why can't I hear the Schweigen rangehood?
Schweigen's Isodrive® technology places the motor remotely in the roof cavity, ceiling void or exterior wall — away from the kitchen. The only sound at the cooktop is air moving through the filters, not a motor.
What does Schweigen installation involve?
Installation costs are comparable to a standard rangehood. The remote motor mounts in the ceiling, roof cavity or bulkhead with flexible ducting. Most Australian states require external venting to outside — check your state building code. Contact us for a referral to an experienced Schweigen installer near you.
Is there an Australian warranty?
Yes. All Schweigen products sold through authorised Australian dealers carry a full Australian warranty. Airdry is an authorised Schweigen dealer — all products purchased through us are covered and supported locally.
