How is SolarVenti different from a conventional electric dehumidifier?
SolarVenti runs entirely on solar power — zero electricity cost after installation. Unlike conventional dehumidifiers it introduces warm, dry outdoor air while exhausting damp indoor air, and continues working efficiently in cold weather where electric dehumidifiers lose effectiveness.
How is SolarVenti installed?
Wall-mounted units require only a drill and 2–4 hours for DIY installation. Roof mounting is possible but most customers prefer a professional for that option. The system is maintenance-free — rain washes the solar panel clean automatically, and the panel filter only needs an annual rinse.
What room size is SolarVenti suited for?
The SV3 suits spaces up to approximately 50m³ (e.g. a standard bedroom). The SV7 suits up to 100m³, and the SV14 and SV20 models are designed for larger spaces such as living areas, garages and commercial spaces. Contact us if you are unsure which model suits your space.
