The UM1390-12S fits deeper into cabinetry than most other undermount rangehoods. Due to its larger extraction zone, this model is simply exceptional in the removal of fats, oils and grease, leaving your kitchen fresher for longer.

Why can't I hear the Schweigen rangehood running?

Schweigen's Isodrive® technology places the motor remotely in the roof cavity, wall or ceiling void — away from the kitchen. At low speeds the rangehood is virtually silent, because the only sound source is air moving through the filters, not a motor above the cooktop.

What does Schweigen rangehood installation involve?

Installation costs are typically the same as a standard rangehood. The remote motor unit is installed in the ceiling, roof cavity or bulkhead with flexible ducting. Most Australian states require external venting to outside — check your state building authority requirements. Contact us for a referral to an experienced Schweigen installer near you.

Is the Schweigen rangehood covered by Australian warranty?
